Recent Projects:
Laying of Gas Transmission Pipelines from Sakra to Tembusu and from Attap Valley to Woodlands Ave 9
This project was called to provide a supply of natural gas to the recently constructed Keppel Merlimau Cogen in Jurong Island. As Keppel Energy’s Onshore Receiving Facility was at Attap Valley, HSC constructed two pipelines and offtake stations to transport the natural gas to Jurong Island. This included tapping into the existing high pressure gas pipeline along Woodlands Ave 9 to connect the two newly constructed pipelines.

Commissioning of Pipeline
The pictures above show the arrival of the PIG (which indicates that the pipeline has been commissioned with natural gas) and the purging/flaring of excess natural gas in the PIG launcher/receiver.
